Best New Teas
We are always so excited about our new launches that we wanted to give them the spotlight and do a round-up of all the teas that we’ve released so far in 2024, with more to come.
From a refreshing, lemony herbal tea to the vanilla infused tea you’ve been asking for, read on as we celebrate our newest additions:

Genmai Nikomaru Medium Roast
Genmai is a Japanese roasted brown rice which has nutty aromas giving it a light, balanced flavour. It is usually added to Japanese Green Tea to create Genmaicha but, for this particular release, we’ve left the tea out to create a herbal drink that comes with all the rich flavour of Genmaicha without the caffeine. Expect notes of popcorn, toast and brazil nuts in our Genmai Nikomaru Medium Roast. Pair with rice dishes, particularly sushi, or with something sweet like chocolate mousse.

Organic White Peony Bai Mu Dan
Our Organic White Peony Bai Mu Dan white tea is hand picked as early as March where only the top two leaves and a young bud are selected for the best quality and flavour. The leaves naturally dry in the sun to retain their flavour with notes of bamboo, cucumber and jasmine giving you a lovely, refreshing taste. This is a particularly good white tea to enjoy in the morning as its assertive quality is quite rousing. Find out more about other ideas for breakfast tea beyond the usual with our guide here.

Organic Japanese Benifuuki
Picked early in April at 390m altitude from the first flush of the season, Benifuuki is a hybrid of a Darjeeling cultivar and a Japanese cultivar coming from India. This innovative combination creates a black tea that is floral with notes of lychee and muscatel, giving our Organic Japanese Benifuuki a medium astringency and a touch of toasted malt quite unlike other Japanese teas.

Organic Lemon Verbena
If you want something light, citrusy and refreshing, you will fall in love with our Organic Lemon Verbena herbal tea. The evergreen shrub offers leaves that are picked and left to wither and dry naturally in the sun. When infused, the leaves uncurl to reveal a lemony-citrus perfume and taste. This tea is a staple in your wellbeing selection, ideal for any time of day, though especially when you would like to feel cleansed and invigorated. Vanilla Pu erh
Many of you kept asking for this and now it’s here! Our Vanilla Pu erh has delicious flavour and function infused with tasty bourbon vanilla pieces creating a full-bodied tea. Enjoy this mouthwatering Pu erh tea if you are feeling fancy as it is perfect with creamy desserts, or enjoy it for aiding great digestion with an indulgent taste. Available in both loose leaf and teabag formats.

Yunnan Bai Ya Wild Tea Buds
Ok, it’s not new but we wanted to share this picture because it’s such a beautiful tea. Our Yunnan Bai Ya Wild Tea Buds is a white tea made with ancient buds that grow in the wild and handpicked on the full moon in the high mountains of Yunnan, making it even more magical than its taste. It’s packed with antioxidants that are known to strengthen the immune system and enhance mood and concentration. It’s also our founder Marina’s favourite tea, so you know it is loved for good reason.
