Hojicha White Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is synonymous with comfort and warmth. Did you know that when you add our Organic Hojicha powder it enhances with deeply nutty notes – like roasted pistachio. Sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it? We’ve tried this Hojicha White Hot Chocolate recipe and can confirm that the roasty Hojicha and creamy white chocolate combo is one you need to try. Ingredients
- 5 tsp AVANTCHA Organic Hojicha Powder
- 125ml whole milk
- 50g white chocolate
- Optional: whipped cream, marshmallows to garnish
Directions
- Melt the chocolate in a pot over the stove
- In another pot, warm up the milk on the stove to a simmer at around 85-90 C
- Take a small portion of hot milk and add it to the pot of melted chocolate to mix it well
- Add the mixture back to the rest of the milk and add 5 tsp of AVANTCHA Organic Hojicha Powder. Mix until the powder is completely dissolved
- Simmer the hot chocolate for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently
- Garnish with whipped cream, marshmallows and enjoy
