Iced Jasmine Matcha Sapphire

A fun, visual drink to impress your guests this summer, our Iced Matcha Sapphire is floral and earthy with citrusy notes. Watch the mesmerising blue from the Butterfly Pea flower slowly change to purple thanks to the acidity in the lemon but still keeping it’s delicate taste. Ingredients
- 3g AVANTCHA Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima
- 50ml of 75°C water
- 1 tsp AVANTCHA Sapphire Jasmine Needle
- 120ml of 85°C water
- 20ml of Giffard Lemon Syrup*
- Sweetener (optional)
*This is a recommended serve but please adjust the syrup to your own liking / desired sweetness.

Directions
- Sift the AVANTCHA Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima powder into bowl or press whisk down several times to break up and loosen the powder. Add 50ml of water (75°C) and whisk briskly.
- Brew the AVANTCHA Sapphire Jasmine Needle by adding 120ml of 85°C water to 1tsp of the tea in a teapot. You can use our Solo Teapot to brew. Wait for the tea to cool down so it doesn’t melt the ice.
- In a glass, add ice and the cooled Sapphire Jasmine Needle.
- Pour in the Giffard Lemon syrup and watch the magic happen as the Sapphire Jasmine Needle tea transforms in to a beautiful purple colour.
- Add the Matcha in, stir and enjoy!
