Matcha Passionfruit Lemonade

Tropical, tangy, and beautifully vibrant, this Matcha Passionfruit Lemonade is sunshine in a glass. Layering zesty lemonade with lush passionfruit and a bright pour of AVANTCHA Organic Cocktail Grade Matcha Kagoshima, it’s a refreshing blend of sweet, sour, and earthy. The ultimate iced drink for long afternoons, weekend brunches, or anytime you’re craving a bold burst of flavour.
Ingredients
- Ice
- 50ml passionfruit puree
- 1 passionfruit – halved and flesh and seeds scooped out
- 50ml AVANTCHA Organic Cocktail Grade Matcha Kagoshima
- 150ml cloudy lemonade
Directions
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Add 50ml of passionfruit purée, followed by the flesh and seeds of a fresh passionfruit.
- Top with 150ml of cloudy lemonade and stir gently to combine.
- To make the matcha, sift 2 Matcha Spoons (about 3g) of AVANTCHA Organic Cocktail Grade Matcha Kagoshima into a bowl, or press your whisk gently to loosen the powder.
- Add 50ml of cold water and whisk until smooth and frothy using a bamboo or electric whisk.
- Slowly pour the matcha over the top of the lemonade for a striking layered effect.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical green escape.
