Festive Matcha Latte

A minty but creamy warm drink is just the thing to keep you snug during the winter months and we’ve found the best recipe. Cosy up with this Festive Matcha Latte, made with traditional peppermint candy canes to keep you refreshed and curb that sweet tooth, along with our Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima to get you in to the holiday spirit.

Ingredients
- 2 Matcha spoons/3g Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima
- 50ml of 75 degree water
- 120ml of 50 degree milk of choice
- 2 candy peppermint candy canes to be infused with milk
- 1 crushed candy cane or Matcha for garnish
- Optional: 10ml White Chocolate syrup
Directions
- Sieve Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima powder into a small bowl. Add the warm water and use a Matcha whisk or small whisk to combine and remove any lumps
- Add the candy cane and milk to a pan and heat until it reaches 50 °C. Allow the candy cane to melt into the milk
- Pour the milk into a tall milk jug, add vanilla syrup if using and use a milk frother until it’s frothy and smooth
- Pour the Matcha into a tall glass, followed by the warm milk. Sieve Matcha powder to the frothy milk top and add a sprinkle of crushed candy cane for decoration. Stir and enjoy your Festive Matcha Latte
