Organic Snowy Matcha Cookies

We LOVE our Organic Matcha Cocktail Grade Kagoshima not only for adding to our lattes but for using in baking too, like with these Organic Snowy Matcha Cookies. They’re really easy to make (and could be a wonderful gift?). The pop of vibrant colour comes from the exceptional quality of our Matcha and so makes the final result even greener than you could have hoped for.

Recipe serves 8

Duration 20 mins, plus 1 hour freezing time

Organic Snowy Matcha Cookies Ingredients


  • Add sugar, plain flour, Matcha and baking powder to a bowl and whisk to combine
  • Add melted butter and egg and fold to combine until you have a sticky green dough
  • Roll into balls, place on piece of baking paper and put into the freezer for an hour
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius (fan)
  • Roll the balls in the small bowl of caster sugar, and then thoroughly in the icing sugar
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes
  • Leave to cool, and then eat while still warm
  • Will keep in an airtight container for up to four days, though the colour will change with time – they are best on the first day
